Kemtek's distribution activities are controlled by its branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Pretoria with a branch dedicated to export sales to neighbouring Southern and East African countries and the Indian Ocean islands. In addition to administrative personnel, all branches are equipped with the following facilities:
Kemtek's product line and technologies are protected by sole distribution agreements with its major overseas principals. Licensing agreements also protect the manufacturing activities. In our chemical mixing plant in Johannesburg, for example, we manufacture a range of chemicals for the processing of all types of films and printing plates and related pressroom products under license to our overseas principals. Kemtek further protects its technologies and products with the aid of sophisticated local finishing plants to finish thermal ribbons. Our principals' products are also protected by patents and trademarks. |
