Dear Valued Customers
Welcome to our festive edition of Kemtek News, and what better way to round-up yet another rewarding year with a review of milestone moments we’ve shared.
With the exciting March launch of our African Centre of Digital Print Excellence, in Johannesburg, we were able to deliver top-notch seminars and training events across various print, packaging and finishing platforms. These included the launch of the versatile HP Indigo 7600 sheetfed digital press, pioneering Komori H-UV curing system and Duplo DC-646PRO.
We also welcomed two new partners to our family, Fujifilm SA and Rapid 3D, for whom we are now preferred distributors across Southern Africa. It’s safe to say that these fledgling relationships have already got off to a smashing start and we expect great things during 2015 and beyond.
It was also a year of firsts, with several printers partnering with Kemtek and HP Indigo to enter the digital printing arena. We witnessed the first Komori H-UV installation in Africa, in Pietermaritzburg and, after a hugely-successful FESPA Africa, we literally moved heaven and earth to get the all-new Durst P10/320R wide-format UV inkjet printer to its new home in Midrand!
Last, but by no means least, we said a fond farewell to our chairman of 56 years, Toekie Rudaizky, who started Kemtek with a clear vision and chartered its success over the years. Still maintaining a director role, Toekie has now handed the day-to-day running of the business over to a new leadership, headed by Dave Savage.
Today, and always, the core of Kemtek is our personal commitment to our industry partners to provide the most advanced equipment, tools and knowledge to improve the quality of the African printing and packaging sector and the environment we operate in. It’s through this commitment that we continue to inspire excellence and efficiency from our nationwide team, working in the spirit of respectful collaboration and cooperation. As we welcome the New Year, let us reaffirm our dedication to you, our most valued partners. Together, we shall continue to strive to get to the very top of our game.
I wish you and your families all good health, love and happiness in 2015!
